Description
Single-Master DALI Controller certificated acc. to DALI-2 (EN 62386). The device is used to control DALI or DALI-2 devices via ABB i-bus® KNX. Two DALI outputs for up to 2×64 DALI participants. DALI power supply is integrated. Control and status feedback is carried out via KNX per DALI participants
(2×64), with lighting groups (2×16), together in broadcast or per scenes (2×16). DALI devices type DT1 (Self-contained emergency converter acc. EN 62386-202) and type DT8 (colour temperature Tc & RGB(W) acc. EN 62386-209) will be supported. Other DALI devices e.g., DT6 can be controlled via standard DALI commands acc. to EN 62386-102. Extensive fault and error messages are available. Slave-, staircase-, force-, block- and scene-function are integrated. Colour can set and dim, HSV(W)-, Dim2Warm-, HCL-function, 4 sequencer per DALI output can be used. A standby switch-off in combination with a KNX switch actuator (e.g., SA/S) and the integration of the DALI Gateways into a load control system are possible. By means of KNX and DT1 converter different emergency tests (e.g., function and duration test) can be triggered, test results are transferred back to KNX. For diagnostic use and individual change of the DALI address or group assignment a separate software tool (ABB i-bus® Tool) is available

DG/S 1.64.5.1 / DG/S 2.64.5.1 is a KNX modular installation device (MDRC) in ProM design for installation in
the distribution board on a 35 mm mounting rail.
It is a DALI single-master controller to DALI standard
IEC 62 386 Parts 101ed2 and 103ed1. The gateway is
suitable for use with DALI and DALI-2 systems. It supports Type 0, 1 and 8 DALI operating devices with DALI
interfaces to IEC 62 386 and their integration in a KNX
building installation.
Up to 64 DALI devices can be connected to the DALI
output. “Normal” lamps (DT0), self-contained emergency lights (DT1) and color control lamps (DT8) can all
be connected to the DALI output in a mixed configuration.
The lamps are contrntrolled via KNX using
• broadcast (all lamps jointly)
• 16 lighting groups
• 64 individual lamps
• 16 scenes
• 64 self-contained emergency lights

The DALI-Gateway DG/S 1.64.5.1 / DG/S 2.64.5.1
features the Tunable White (Tc) color function, which
allows you to set and dim the color temperature of
lamps (DT8). There are also settings options for the
additional Dim2Warm and Human Centric Lighting
(HCL) functions.
Other functions include 1-bit scene retrieval and ballast
supply voltage switch-off (standby switch-off) in combination with a KNX switch actuator.
Function, duration and partial duration tests and battery tests for self-contained emergency lighting
systems to IEC 62 386-202 can be triggered and
stopped via KNX, with results provided on the KNX
bus.
The DALI-Gateway possesses a wide-range supply voltage input. No separate DALI power supply is required.
The DALI power supply for 64 DALI devices per output
is integrated in the DALI-Gateway.
