The German-engineered BEC Akustik IC Series represents a breakthrough in architectural audio, introducing an ultra-compact loudspeaker profile without sacrificing sound pressure or fidelity. Measuring a mere 37.5 mm wide and 23 mm deep, these speakers disappear seamlessly into any high-end residential interior, corporate boardroom, or commercial space.

By utilizing flat membrane technology paired with a powerful magnetostatic drive, the entire surface of the speaker vibrates uniformly. This creates a highly controlled line-array dispersion pattern—exceptionally wide at 160° horizontally to blanket a room, but focused at 40° vertically to prevent distracting acoustic reflections from floors and ceilings. Thanks to line-array physics, sound attenuation drops by only 3 dB per doubling of distance (compared to 6 dB with conventional dynamic drivers), delivering pristine speech intelligibility and background music effortlessly across deep spaces.
